BarBara Hanlo, beeldend kunstenaar en filmmaker, woont en werkt in Amsterdam. Sinds 1993 hebben al haar films hun wereldpremière beleefd op het International Film Festival Rotterdam en zijn vervolgens op filmfestivals in binnen- en buitenland getoond. Evenals haar films zijn haar fotowerken experimenteel en poëtisch. Hanlo ontving subsidie van o.a. het Nederlands Film Fonds, ThuisKopie Fonds, Provincie Noord Holland, Mondriaan Fonds.

BarBara Hanlo is visual artist and filmmaker who lives and works in Amsterdam.  Since 1993 all of her films have had their world premiere at the International Film Festival Rotterdam and are shown at film festivals at home and abroad. Like her films, her photographic works are experimental and poetic.Hanlo received grants from the Dutch Film Fund, ThuisKopie Fund, Province of North Holland and Mondriaan Fund.
